International Business

This course provides students with an understanding of how to manage international business in global business environment.

The course focuses on both global business environment and international business management, so the topics covered include globalization, international trade, foreign direct investment, foreign exchange, global strategy, foreign market entry, global production and supply chain management, and global marketing. These topics are also discussed in conjunction with Korea and Korean companies.

By the end of the course, you should be able:

To understand how international business is managed in a global business environment.
To understand the strategic and managerial issues faced by the managers of international business and demonstrate an ability to deal with them effectively, including foreign market entry.
To understand various dimensions of international business environment and their effects on international business.
To demonstrate effective communication skills, both orally and in writing.
